Cowichan Valley Wine Tour
Join our Cowichan Valley wine tour which we begin with a visit to Merridale Cidery with the offerings of hard cider ranging from dry & crisp to the more traditional English style apple and berry ciders finishing up with a delightful apple dessert cider. An informative guided tour of the cider making process before the tasting creates a new appreciation of their handcrafted ciders. We carry on to Cherry Point Vineyards for an estate winery experience – all the wines offered are grown on the estate and reflect the Cowichan Valley terrior. Before the wine tasting guests enjoy a vineyard tour with the winery owner who is pleased to answer any questions. Just moments up the road the next visit is to Rocky Creek Winery where another passionate winemaking couple offers samplings of their estate wines.
e recommend including a lunch stop with wonderful options available at Merridale Cidery, Thistle’s café @ Glenterra Vineyard or the bistro at Cherry Point Vineyards.
Saanich Peninsula Wine Tour
If your group is looking for a wine tour closer to town this would be a great option.
We begin our tour with a visit to Sea Cider offering a wonderful ocean view location where guests are sampling a selection of hard ciders handcrafted with locally grown apples. Travelling further along the peninsula our next stop is visiting Muse Winery in Deep Cove. A stroll in the vineyard with an informative tour of the trials and tribulations of viticulture is followed by wine tasting in the winery. Heading back towards town passing pastoral rolling hills overlooking the Salish Sea our final stop is Starling Lane Winery. They will guide the group through a selection of their favourite wines which are grown locally.
Butchart Gardens & Winery Tour
We are pleased to combine two popular island attractions. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens for a couple hours followed by lunch and wine tasting at one of our local wineries. Chocolate & wine pairing is a popular option.
